The learners of St. Joseph Allamano School recently embarked on an enriching academic trip that blended the wonders of nature, the pillars of governance, and the treasures of history. Their exciting journey took them to Tsavo National Park, the Kenya Parliament, and the Kenya National Archives(Museum)—an experience that will remain etched in their minds for years to come.

The adventure began at Tsavo National Park, one of Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuaries. The learners were thrilled to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and various bird species in their natural habitats. Guided by park rangers, they learned about wildlife conservation, the importance of biodiversity, and the need to protect Kenya’s natural heritage. The scenic landscapes and close encounters with animals sparked excitement and curiosity among all.

From the wild beauty of Tsavo, the group traveled to the Kenya Parliament in Nairobi, where they stepped into the very heart of the nation’s decision-making. They toured the Chambers, learned about how laws are made, and discovered the vital role Parliament plays in shaping the country’s future. Many learners left inspired, envisioning themselves as future leaders and legislators.

The trip concluded at the Kenya National Archives, a treasure trove of historical documents, photographs, and cultural artifacts. Under the guidance of museum experts, the learners explored exhibitions showcasing Kenya’s rich cultural diversity, colonial history, and the road to independence. This visit deepened their appreciation for the country’s heritage and strengthened their sense of national pride.

The school praised the trip as not only educational but also trans-formative, helping students connect classroom knowledge to real-world experiences. Teachers, parents, and guides were thanked for making the journey possible and for supporting the learners’ growth beyond the four walls of the classroom.

Indeed, the visit to Tsavo National Park, Kenya Parliament, and Kenya National Archives was more than a trip—it was a journey of learning, inspiration, and patriotism.Gracias to Allamano School Administration.(J.K).
